LANGUAGE
LITERATURE

Preserving the Hungarian language is especially important in the diaspora. We support this challenging mission through our annual poetry and prose recitation competition, by promoting the works of Hungarian writers and poets, and through our soon-to-launch programme.

MUSIC
DANCE

For over 10 years, we have supported the work of one of the largest folk dance ensembles in the diaspora. This year, we began producing exclusive documentaries about prominent figures in Hungarian music — including Peter Bence and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.

TRADITIONS
FOLK CUSTOMS

With hundreds of live-music dance events, folk songs, storytelling, craft fairs and the involvement of tradition-preserving masters, we nurture Hungary's rich folk heritage. We present this living tradition - part of the world's cultural heritage - to the local community.

TRADITIONS
CELEBRATORY DAYS

Year after year, our foundation helps keep traditions alive: on occasions such as Carnival, Easter, the Harvest Ball, and St. Nicholas Day, we organise joint programs for Hungarian families living in England so they can preserve the customs of our special days.

Gastronomy
Wine culture

We showcase gastronomy and wine culture: at our events, guests are welcomed with authentic flavours, while our documentaries introduce both traditional and contemporary aspects of our culinary heritage to audiences in the UK.

FINE ARTS
ARCHITECTURE

We aim to connect with as many outstanding or uniquely talented Hungarian visual artists living in the UK as possible and to showcase their work. If you would like to recommend visual artists or architects whose work you’d love to learn more about, please get in touch!

Sport
LEISURE

We have organised two archery days in the woods near London, where masters taught interested participants, and our horseback riding day was also a great success. Equestrian tradition is a shared link between Hungary and England—through these engaging, experience-based programmes, we keep our common interests alive and active.

Film
THEATRE

We have begun exploring ways to collaborate with children’s and adult drama groups, and to organise joint programs that support local creative talents interested in film and theatre. We are currently seeking opportunities and new connections and would be happy to hear any ideas you may have. Please get in touch.

RELIGION
HISTORY

Since religion is an integral part of our culture, we consider it important to build connections with religious organisations. Similarly, we are looking for events and collaboration opportunities related to historical themes. If you know of any such programs or have interesting ideas, please get in touch with us! Until then, take a look at our videos from the past.
