For Beginners Too
Discover the vibrant world of Hungarian dance culture with the Hunique Dance Ensemble! In our weekly classes, we not only learn dance steps but also gain insight into the rich world of Hungarian folk music and traditions — a fun and engaging experience for adults!
The first class is free, and if you enjoy it, you can join our regular sessions for a monthly fee. We offer classes at beginner/refresher and intermediate/advanced levels.

The first trial class is free, then £15 per session.
A Piece from Hungary
Classes with the Hunique Dance Ensemble are more than just dance lessons — they bring a little piece of Hungary to the heart of London. Through traditional dances, we don’t just learn steps, but a way of life, culture, and community.
Several times a year, we also organise London dance house events (táncház), where joyful dancing is accompanied by live folk music, delicious Hungarian food and drinks. These occasions are true community celebrations — a piece of home where every generation is welcome, whether dancing, watching, chatting, or just enjoying a bite of pogácsa.
Itt az együttlét nem ér véget az órákkal – valódi, összetartó közösség vár, ahol a hovatartozás élménye, a közös nevetések, ünnepek és barátságok egyaránt fontosak. A néptánc nálunk híd a múlt és jelen között, ahol minden korosztály megtalálhatja a helyét – kezdőként vagy haladóként is.

The instructors of the Hunique Dance Ensemble bring decades of professional experience and are true masters of Hungarian folk dance. Their expertise extends beyond technique to the historical and cultural context of each dance.
Whether it’s dances from Mezőség, Kalotaszeg, Szatmár, Moldva, or Dunántúl, they teach a wide range of regional styles authentically to both beginners and advanced dancers. Their teaching is not about repetitive routines — it’s a living, personalised experience.
